Youngsters Jack Ainsley, Troy Brown, Luke Hyam, Reggie Lambe, Ian McLoughlin, Ronan Murray, SHane O'Connor Tommy Smith and Edward Upson all will make the trip to the Prostar Stadium on Tuesday, with many of Town's bigger names being excluded.

Connor Wickham, Jack Colback and Colin Healy are all expected to make their first starts for the club in the opening round of the competition which Town boss Roy Keane looks set to use as a chance to develop some of the younger players of his squad.

Speaking of his changes to the Official Club Website, Keane said: "I had a team in my mind for the Shrewsbury game before we played at Coventry and there will definitely be changes to the side that played on Sunday.

"There was never a chance of us playing the same team but we will be going to Shrewsbury with a strong side and to win the game."

Full Town Squad: Jack Ainsley, Troy Brown, Alex Bruce, Jack Colback, Owen Garvan, Colin Healy, Luke Hyam, Reggie Lambe, Ian McLoughlin, Ronan Murray, Shane O'Connor, Alan Quinn, Tommy Smith, Shane Supple, Edward Upson, Jonathan Walters, Connor Wickham and David Wright.

You can follow the game live on Tuesday via our matchday live console which will be avaliable with full team-lineups from around 7.15pm.
