Sam Parkin will be eager to get his first goal at Portman Road
After two months on the sidelines with an ankle ligament injury, midfielder Ian Westlake returns to the first-team squad along with recent absentees Kevin Horlock and Nicky Forster.

Royle has named an 18 man squad ahead of the Plymouth clash, with young Canadian Jamie Peters dropping out.

The manager confirmed that despite not being match-fit, Westlake will make the bench, "Ideally we would have liked to have played him in the reserves before a first team match but this has not been possible."

Owen Garvan is the only major absentee for the clash, though Forster's knee injury is understood to not be 100% recovered and it is unlikely that he will feature.

Ahead of the match skipper Jim Magilton has backed Sam Parkin in his quest for his first Portman Road goal. Town's top scorer, with 5 goals has been under fire from a section of the home support, since his summer move from Swindon. Magilton's comments can be read in his matchday programme column.
