Westlake out of Cardiff Clash

Westlake, who has only just returned to first-team action after suffering two months on the sidelines with ankle ligament damage, suffered another injury to the ankle as he looked to step up his match fintess last week in the Reserves 4-2 win over Charlton.

However, the injury is only thought to be minor bruising and won't prevent the dynaminc midfielder from playing at Portman Road on Saturday, against Wolves.

Young Canadian winger Jamie Peters replaces Westlake in Joe's squad. His main decision tonight, however, will focus on the attack, where Sam Parkin, out for 12 weeks with a broken ankle, is unavailable. Joe has Proudlock, Forster, Bowditch, 17 year old Clarke and even Naylor as a make-shift striker to choose from.

The game takes centre stage for Sky Sports Monday night coverage, with Sky Sports One starting their coverage from Ninian Park from 7.30pm.
