Walsall 0-0 Ipswich - Half Time Report

Town had the most of the posession in a pretty even first half with both teams reluctant to comitt any other players than their strikers forward. Moves often broke down however in and around the penalty area for Town with misplaced passes.

Matt Elliott, making his debut on loan from Leciester settled into the team well in the first half and made a clearence off the line in a blues back line that seemed to be able to deal with all that was thrown at it by Walsall.

Dean Bowditch, in for Shefki Kuqi looked lively for the first 30 minutes and came back and defended when required but seemed to fade away towards the end of the first period.

Town Side: Davis, Richards, Elliott, Naylor, Wilnis, Westlake, Magilton, Miller, Wright, Bent, Bowditch.
