Town in Second Jeffers Bid

Confirming the news to the Official Club Website, Town boss Jim Magilton said: "It's been well documented we're keen on bringing Franny here and the chairman has made a second offer to Blackburn for him.

"I've kept in touch with Franny and he's very keen to come. These things take time but hopefully it will resolve itself soon.

"We certainly need a goalscorer, someone to take the weight off Alan Lee and Jon Walters, and that remains a priority."
