Town deny Moore approach

Moore waved to fans before and after Rotherhams home match with Gillingham in a manner which suggested he might already have made his mind up about his future.

However, a statement from Ipswich said: "We have made no contact or approach to Rotherham at all."

Moore, who has guided the Millers to above half-way in Division One after successive promotions, has admitted that his ambition is to manage in the Premiership.

Terry Butcher, Brian Talbot, Paul Goddard and Bryan Hamilton have also been linked with the job but at the moment Tony Mowbray is handling duties in a caretaker managers role.
