Town announce Palace friendly

The match will be played at Portman Road on Saturday 24^th July, one of three friendly matches to be played at Town’s home ground in the build up to the new season.

As usual Town are organising a match against a top European opposition side, most likely Lazio as part of Matteo Sereni’s transfer deal to the Italian club, and Newcastle are also in town for the Dale Roberts testimonial game on July 28th.

The date of the Palace fixture clashes with an already arranged game with Redbridge FC, however both games are set to take place with a probable reserve and/or academy side playing the game in Essex.
