The Eagles Heading to Portman Road?

The band, first formed in 1970, consists of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit and their previous album, Hotel California has been voted the 37th greatest album of all time, and the group themselves were voted the 75rh best artist of all time in Rolling Stone magazine.

Should terms for the concert be agreed, it's likely that the gig at Portman Road will be stated between June 18th and June 28th, when the band are playing in Brussels, Belgium, and Galway, Ireland respectively on their European Tour.

In recent years Portman Road has seen several concerts being held, featuring the likes of Elton John, Neil Diamond, REM and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, although no concert was held in the Summer of 2008.
