Alan Mahon is set to miss out following his injury sustained on Saturday which could be set to rule him out for up to six weeks if the damage is as bad as first thought, with young academy product Matthew Bloomfield coming into the squad as a replacement.

Dean Bowditch, who was the only player in the last squad not to be named in the 16 for Stoke, keeps his place in the 17 and Tommy Miller, despite being short of match fitness, has also been named in the squad after managing 45 minutes on Saturday.

Town have a fitness worry over Jim Magilton, who is likely to be given as much time as possible to recover from a calf injury that forced him to be withdrawn at half time on Saturday, should Magilton not make it, it's estimated that Tommy Miller and Ian Westlake will both play, with Bloomfield on the bench.

Full Squad: Armstrong, Bart-Williams, Bloomfield, Bowditch, Couñago, Davis, Kuqi, Magilton, Miller, Nash, Naylor, Price, Richards, Santos, Westlake, Wilnis, Wright.
