Santos in but Magilton Out

Magilton was the victim of a late challenge on Saturday from Cardiff's Julian Gray, and despite work by the Town physio team to have him ready in time for Wednesday's game against Forest, it looks like the blues captain will not make it in time to figure in the clash at The City Ground.

Speaking to the official club website Town physio Dave Williams confirmed: "Jim has heavy bruising around the ankle and foot and at the moment it doesn't look good for him for the Forest match,"

"The foot is cut but that is not the problem at all. The swelling and bruising is extensive and that will have to improve very quickly for him to have a chance of playing on Wednesday. He looks very doubtful as things stand."

However there is better news on central defender Georges Santos, who despite nearly not making the starting lineup on Saturday against Cardiff, looks set to figure on Wednesday: "Georges still has bruising around the toe but he is okay and will be fine for Wednesday." Williams concluded.
