Royle Wants Decisions

Speaking to the East Anglian Daily Times Royle said: "I need the players' contracts to be sorted out by the weekend at the latest. I'm quite confident after speaking to Richard and Jim earlier this week that they will sign, but I have not heard back from Chris and Fabian's agents.

"As from Monday we will know exactly where we stand and players, managers and agents will be back from wherever and the serious business of getting players can start."

All four players contracts ran out the midnight just passed, and they are now free agents and are entitled to join another club without letting Town or boss Joe Royle know, should they desire to do so.

Jermaine Wright and John McGreal have already moved to Leeds and Burnley respectively on bosman free transfers after turning down new contract offers from Town, whilst Alun Armstrong and Chris Bart-Williams were told they would not be offered new deals by the club.

Lewis Price is the only player that was out of contract this Summer that has so far signed on the dotted line and comitted himself to the club.
