Royle on Parkin Signing

Town have captured the 24 year old for an inital fee of £300,000 with a further sum of £150,000 in 12 months time, and is the second striker Town have secured in 24 hours following the signing of Nicky Forster yesterday.

Speaking of the signing, Royle said: "Sam has real talent, he can win a header but more than anything he can control the ball and keep the ball. He has a fantastic goalscoring record and has earned the right to step up to this division"
