Royle dismisses Sheff Utd Job link

Royle has now been in charge of Ipswich for 3 years and insists he is happy at the club and laughed off suggestions that he would be a possible replacement for Neil Warnock.

The speculation linking him with Sheffield United follows the media hype at the weekend surrounding Neil Warnock, the current Sheffield United manager's supposedly imminent departure to Premiership Portsmouth.

However, Warnock said after his side were defeated 4-2 at the Walker's Stadium last Saturday that he would be in charge for the Sheffield derby that takes place on Saturday 3rd Decemeber. He refused to talk to the BBC's Score programme, though, further adding to the speculation of a departure to the south coast.
