The 22 year old Hungarian international striker signed a three year contract with the club this afternoon after Town agreed a fee with Watford for his services 24 hours ago.

Speaking of his delight of joining Town, Priskin told the Official Club Website: "I know the manager here wants to get the club in the Premier League and when I knew that the two clubs had agreed a fee, it was an easy decision to make."

Priskin confirmed that joining Town is the next step in the development of his career: "Ipswich are a big club and have a good chance to get promoted and I'm here to help them achieve that.

"It's a big step for me, coming to Ipswich. I spoke to my team-mate for Hungary, Marton Fulop, who was at Sunderland when Roy Keane was manager there and he said it would be a good move for me. I'm looking forward to it."
