Counago signed for the Blues on a free transfer in Summer 2001 from Celta Vigo, and last season hit 21 goals for Town finishing as top scorer. So far this season, after a slow start, Counago has scored nine times and is currently out injured nursing a hamstring injury, but may be fit to face Cardiff at Portman Road on Saturday.
Should Counago leave Town, which although seeming unlikely, questions must surely be asked of the ambition of the club as no club can be sucessfull if it sells all of it's best players, especially when Counago is one of an ever decreasing number of Stars currentley at Portman Road.
