Pablo Ruled out for Month

The Popular striker limped off after just 34 minutes of Saturday's clash against Derby after appearing to suffer from discomfort after carrying out one of his trademark backheels against George Burley's men.

Inital reports suggested that Counago had tore his hamstring, an injury which could have ruled him out for two to three months which surely would have given Town's promotions chances a severe blow with Counago having scored three times as many goals as any other striker at the club so far this season.

Speaking to the Official Club website, Town Physio Dave Williams confirmed: "There scan showed Pablo has strained his hamstring. There is no sign of a tear and he will be out of action for around three to four weeks, which is obviously better than the two or three months he could have missed if the hamstring was torn."

ITFM wishes Pablo all the best and a speedy recovery from his injury so the Blues undisputed top striker can be banging the goals in for the club again soon.
