Bent has been sidelined for a few weeks and made his comeback as a late substitute against Turkey for England Under 21's in Istanbul, which he got through with no problems, unfortunatley though this morning he suffered a reoccurance of the knee problem which has haunted for the past few weeks and is set to miss out.

Speaking of the blow to his teenager striker, Town manager Joe Royle told the Official Club Website: "I watched Darren in training this morning and he clearly wasn't right and had to stop working. He will not be considered for the game against Burnley now.

Dean Bowditch has been called up as a replacement, and looks to start on the bench for the blues with Royle starting with the same pair of strikers, Pablo Counago and Shefki Kuqi, which started at Valley Parade.

Scott Mitchell, who was called up to his first squad for Saturday's win against Bradford, has also been called up as cover for Georges Santos who has been rated extremley doubtful for tommorows game against the Cllarets due to a thigh injury which nearly ruled him out over the win against Bradford.

Revised Squad: Armstrong, Bart-Williams, Bowditch, Counago, Davis, Kuqi, Magilton, Mahon, Mitchell, Nash, Naylor, Price, Richards, Santos, Westlake, Wilnis, Wright.
