The 23-year-old, who had been with the Addicks since the start of the season, has been summoned back to Portman Road by new manager Paul Jewell.
The winger's last game in Charlton colours was a 4-2 defeat to Swindon on January 3, a match which proved to be Phil Parkinson's last in charge.
