The former Northern Ireland International who took over from former skipper Matt Holland in the Summer was caught by an agressive two footed tackle from Burnley's Mo Camara on Tuesday night, which caused a large amount of swelling on his calf the next morning.

Speaking to the Official Club Website, Jim admitted: "The lad caught me and it was painful after the game. When I woke up the next morning my calf had swollen right up but I'm confident that I will be okay for Saturday."

Should Magilton play on Saturday, he will make his 200th apperance in a blues shirt since joining the club from Sheffield Wednesday in a £682,500 move in March 1999. Magilton previously was on loan at the club for three months.
