If that wasn't bad enough, Town also have Richard Naylor and Chris Bart-Williams suspended after picking up five yellow cards for the season which lead to one match bans. Add to that doubts over John McGreal and Alun Armstrong only recentley returned from injury, and you have a squad thats very thin on the ground.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Royle said: "We might only have three subs. We'll have to wait and see who's fit. I can't say until I know whether John McGreal's fit. We are getting very close to not having five on the bench."
