Praise for Fans
The 31 year old Northern Ireland midfielder has joined the blues on a free transfer signing a two year deal with an option of a further year, and says that the mixture of Joe Royle and the blues support is what helped him make the decision.

"I played for West Ham at Ipswich at the start of last season and was also at Portman Road for the Play-Offs and the place was rocking that day." he told itfc.co.uk

"The fans are passionate down here and everyone knows what a great name Ipswich have in the game so I didn't need any persuading to come here. I'm looking forward to working with Joe and Willie again as well and hopefully I can play my part in helping the Club get back in the Premiership."
