Holland to miss Cup tie

Last updated : 24 September 2002 By TownMAD
Holland has missed just one game in the last 270 since signing for Town from Bournmouth in 1997, but a knee injury picked up in the defeat at Soke on Sunday forces him out of Tuesday nights Worthington Cup tie against Brighton at Portman Road.

Holland said: "I'm very disappointed to miss out as I hate not playing in any games.

"But the knee is sore. It is okay running in straight lines but as soon as I turn there is pain.

"It makes sense for me to drop out tonight although I hope to be fit for Saturday against Derby County."

Squad:
Ipswich (from): Marshall, Wilnis, Clapham, McGreal, Hreidarsson, Brown, Magilton, Miller, Ambrose, Counago, D Bent, Westlake, Wright, Armstrong, Counago, M Bent, Richards, Westlake, Pullen.
