The Guinean international who joined the blues from Burnley in the summer on a free transfer damanged his medial ligaments after clashing with fellow free transfer signing and central defender Georges Santos in the 4-1 September win over Franchise FC.

More recentley Diallo returned to training with his blues team-mates, but unfortunatley picked up another knock on his injured knee, which resulted in him still experincing some discomfort in his knee when he again resumed training, so yesterday saw a specialist to see what the best way forward was.

Unfortunatley for Town the news was not good, and Drissa requires an operation on his knee which will take place early next week and will rule him out for around four to five weeks, with sometime around the Christmas Period likely to be his aims for a comeback.
