The keeper signed from Wimbledon on a free transfer in the pre-season period yesterday dislocated a finger in the game aginst Wigan in the final few minutes, and Town manager Joe Royle admits their is a question mark over him being fir for Saturday.

Speaking to the Official Club Website, Town physio Dave Williams said : "Kelvin dislocated his middle finger in the last minute of the game, making a save.

"It was literally his last touch of the match. We reset the finger into place straight away but he has to be considered a doubt for Saturday.

"He is not ruled out by any means though and will have a fitness test as late as the boss wants to go."

If Davis doesn't make it, Royle will have a choice of either throwing in youngster Lewis Price for his first senior match, or recall forner Norwich keeper Andy Marshall, who has so far been kept in exile behind both Davis and Price.
