Clarke in squad for Cardiff trip

Clarke has been in an impressive goal scoring run of form of late in both the reserves and the U18s. Parkin's 12 week absence has paved the way for Clarke to get his first call-up to the senior side.

Adam Proudlock also makes the squad, after recovering from a knee injury that he incurred against Tottenham Reserves. Westlake, Price and Sito all make the squad despite niggling injuries. Westlake is the biggest doubt, after limping out of the reserves match with Charlton in mid-week. He will undergo a fitness test on the ankle on Saturday but is expected to get through it.

Sam Parkin has had his surgery and it has been confirmed that the Blues top scorer will be on the sidelines for 12weeks. Joe Royle will have to make do with what he's got, after Thursday's deadline for loan deals passed with no new faces being added to the squad.

The game at Ninian Park on Monday night is to be televised live by Sky Sports One, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The 18 man squad for the trip to Cardiff is: Bowditch, Currie, Clarke, De Vos, Forster, Horlock, Juan, Magilton, McEveley, Naylor, Price, Proudlock, Richards, Sito, Supple, Westlake, Williams, Wilnis.
