Luca Civelli looks set to play his first match in 16 months for Ipswich Town at Newmarket on Tuesday.The Argentine midfielder, 23, has been sidelined since March 2009 when he suffered extensive knee ligament damage during a league game against Burnley.
Manager Roy Keane told the club website: "It's good that Luca is back with us and out on the training field."
Civelli has been named in a squad of 22 for the club's first pre-season friendly at Cricket Field Road.
