The 17 year old who made his debut at Carrow Road against Norwich last season setting up two goals, last week scored in Town's 1-0 Carling Cup win against Kidderminster, and Royle has hinted that this could give him his first start for the club when Coventry come to Town.

"Dean might well get his chance from the start." he told the East Anglian Daily Times.

"I'm still considering one or two things but we know he is a good player, it has just been a case of getting the timing right to start him."

Also staking his place for a place in the regular starting 11 again is John McGreal, speaking of Wednesday's reserve game, Royle said : "It was good to see John come through and play so well. Alongside him Gerard Nash confirmed what good progress he is making."
