"Oldham came in for him and we were happy for him to join them but he wasn't too keen because he didn't want to drop down a division. Now Burnley have approached us and Dean will be joining them for a month.
"He spoke to me about going out on loan a while back and I agreed that it would be a good move for him if the right club came along and we all hope he does well at Burnley and gets a few goals."
