Sidurdsson: still looking for deal
Magilton was widely expected to sign french midfield linchpin, Alexi Bertin, who had played in all of the Blues four pre season warm-up games but BLuesWeb can reveal that the Town boss has decided both Bertin and Algerian defender Medhi Maniri, who played in Town's 1-1 draw with Zulte Waregem, are not what he is looking for.

Magilton went on to thank both players in an interview with the Club site and said: "They have both done well in their time with us, but at this stage they are not quite what we are looking for. I wish them every success."

The Championship's youngest manager still has two trialists left to make a decision on; Iceland left-back Indridi Sigurdsson, who can also operate in the centre of defence and Finnish U23 midfielder, Marko Kolsi.
