With the match kicking off at 12 noon, the blues applied for a license for the bars to open before the games, which this morning it was announced had been accepted: "We would advise supporters to get to the ground in plenty of time," said Town Media Manager Terry Baxter to the Official Site.

"The Club have applied and been granted a license so that we can serve alcohol at the ground from 10.30 in the morning and that will allow supporters to enjoy a drink at Portman Road before the big match just as they might for a normal afternoon kick-off."
