The former Middlesborough and Stockport striker who had a spell on loan at Bradford from Christmas has admitted that he would love his career to continue at Portman Road and craves first team action for the blues.

"I desperately want to play for Ipswich. Darren Bent and Dean Bowditch have done fantastically well, but manager Joe Royle may not be able to rely on his youngsters every game." he said

"I went to Bradford because I needed to play and was not getting that with Ipswich. I enjoyed my time at Bradford and learned a lot from manager Bryan Robson and his coach Colin Todd. When we were both at Middlesbrough I had a slight disagreement with Bryan, but he has come on a bundle."
