At half time Town were 2-0 down, and were always second best in a comfortable win for the visitors who sealed the win with a third goal half way through the second half.

Aidan Collins made his comeback from injury in the blues defeat after being injured for the past few weeks due to an ankle ligament injury. "That was the big plus point for us really." Ian Smith told the Official Club Website.

"Hopefully he will be okay to play for the Reserves next week. He came through the game with flying colours and Sam Morrow also did well on his return from injury."

Speaking of the result, Smith continued "They were the biggest team we have played all season and physically, it was a big ask of the lads. We had a few chances when we were two down but their third goal killed the game."
