Town striker Darren Bent was disappointed not to have been awarded a penalty: "It was definitely a penalty in the first-half. Their defender clipped me when I was through.

"Their 'keeper made a great save as well, tipping my shot on to the post and we had enough possession and chances to have won the game. I was pleased with my goal, it was a great ball back from Westy and I just concentrated on hitting the target."

Meanwhile Ian Westlake, Town's other goalscorer was disappointed to see his side only come away with a single point: "We are disappointed not to have won the game.

"We were in control of the match and were in a great position at two goals up. Benty and I have played many times together and there is an understanding there. You could see that in the goals we scored. "
