Town to Appeal Sito Red Card

Last updated : 18 September 2005 By Site Editor
Sito was judged to have comitted a professional foul on Norwich striker Kevin Lisbie, but replays since the incident have shown that little, if any contact was made between the two players.

Confirming the clubs plans to the Official Club Website, Royle said: "We will definitely be appealing. At the time I thought it was just a tangle of legs but having watched it on tape, I'm not even sure there was even contact.

"The ball was going through to our 'keeper so there was no danger and the referee had a big decision to make. For some reason he looked across at the linesman and then made the decision. He's made a mistake."
