Stoke City Vs Ipswich- The Opposition View

How do you feel Stoke's season is going
Stoke’s season is going very well, at the beginning of the season I expected us to be battling against relegation again but this hasn’t been the case. We signed a lot of players and now they are starting to gel we are playing a lot better.

How do you feel Ipswich are doing this season?
Ipswich are doing better than I thought they would, I thought they would be in mid table after their financial problems but after a bad start they have been up there most of the season, I expect a very tough game from Ipswich.

Who do you think are your most on form and dangerous players at the moment?
Our most dangerous player is definatly Ade Akinbiyi, you probably remember him from his days at Leicester but he is a different player for Stoke, he has always scored goals at Division 1 level. He is very strong and fast and always looking to break the offside trap.

Are there any youngsters or unsung talents in the squad we may not have heard of?
John Halls, he is a 21 year old defender we signed from Arsenal earlier in the season. He initially joined on loan and really impressed that Stoke paid a bargain £50k to make the move permanent. He is a good tackler, strong in the air and very good with his feet, he likes to get forward a lot.

How do you think both clubs will fair this season?
I think that Ipswich will finish in the play offs, im not going to say if they will win them or not, there are a lot of good teams, it think Stoke will finish around 12th. Id be delighted if we reached the top 10 though.

What Ipswich players do you feel could cause your side problems?
Ipswich have a lot of players that could cause us problems like Bent and Kuqi, our defence has to be on top of its game to try and stop them.

What sort of line-up can we expect from you?
An attacking 4-4-2 formation, we always attack at home whilst taking a more cautious approach away.

De Goey, Halls, Clarke, Taggart, Thomas, Hoekstra, Eustace, Russell, Akinbiyi, Noel-Williams, Asaba

Predicted score?
Stoke 2-1 Ipswich
