Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle did not talk to the press after the game, however defender Matt Elliott felt that Rotherham were the better team in the first half:

"We changed our style after the break and it was a wonder strike by Jermaine Wright that got us back on level terms." he said

"That inspired us to go on and get the result that we did. I would like to think it was our quality that changed things for us."

Meanwhile Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore was disappointed with going from one goal up at half time, to losing by three goals to one at full time: "We were magnificent in the first half.

"But if you do not take the opportunities when they come, at 1-0 you are always going to be vulnerable - especially against a team like Ipswich.

"We had two penalty claims turned down, hit the post twice, and their keeper made a wonder save to stop us going 2-0 up.

"But if you give away goals and do not score when you are on top, you are always going to be in trouble."
