Ipswich Vs Bradford City - The Opposition View

Last updated : 13 February 2004 By Site Editor
How do you feel Bradford's season is going?
It would be easy to suggest that this year we had totally failed but the truth is that the previous one, when Nicky Law took a similar bunch of players to five or six quality one goal away wins, was us over performing post-administration and this year has been us playing like a team that only has Second Division resources.

On the field we are not that far off most teams we play but when the difference is one goal we may as well be getting hammered every match. It's not lack of effort but a lack of quality.

How do you feel Ipswich are doing this season?
Better than I thought they would do.

Who do you think are your most on form and dangerous players at the moment?
We are a team without dangermen, goals are forces out like over due babies, but Ronnie Wallwork is in good form.

Are there any youngsters or unsung talents in the squad we may not have heard of?
Simon Francis, Danny Forrest and Lewis Emanuel head up a decent crop of kids but most of them never see the light of day.

How do you think both clubs will fair this season?
Ipswich will do well but not get a play off place. We will be relegated.

What Ipswich players do you feel could cause your side problems?
Shefki Kuqi cause he always does

What sort of line-up can we expect from you?
Nico Veasen in goal. Peter Atherton, David Wetherall, Jason Gavin and former Norwich man Paul Heckingbottom across the back. Nicky Summerbee, Paul Evans, Ronnie Wallwork, Gareth Farrelly and Michael Branch in the middle and Dean Windass on his own up front.

Predicted score?
One nil to someone
