Meanwhile defender Fabian Wilnis felt his sides defensive work has made the difference this season: "We are much more solid at the back, not seeing a lot of goals against us unlike last season.
"In this team, we are always capable of scoring goals but in this division, if you want to go up, you have to be solid at the back and that's what we are at the moment. "
Whilst Centre back Drissa Diallo agreed with Fabian and is happy with his peformances: "We are not giving our opponents many chances. It is good to play with the same back four. We are improving all the time.
"I feel happy with my performance. Football is all about confidence and hopefully we can carry on Tuesday against Stoke and stay at the top of the division."
