Predicting the result of the first game of the season in our Beat the Manager prediction league proved a tough task for our tipsters - nobody managed to guess the correct result.

Several of our users managed to guess the correct number of goals for one side or the other, earning two points each, but there was no en-mass point scoring this week, and we suspect all of our users will be looking for a rather more successful result next match.

Beat the Manager takes a break for Tuesday's cup match against Shrewsbury Town, but returns for the game against Leicester City at Portman Road next Saturday. Deadline for predictions on this game is 2.00pm on Saturday, you can predict any time from now.
