Williams signs for £300,000

The Welsh international, who has 2 caps, joined Town in Novemeber on loan from the Hammers and scored on his debut at Coverntry. Since then he has made another 8 appearances and the clubs debt restructing allowed Royle to sign him on permanently.
The 25 year old midfielder was delighted to complete the switch and told the club website, "I feel that Ipswich is a club heading in the right direction and if the gaffer can bring in a couple of new players to strengthen the squad, I don't see why we can't start moving up the league quickly."
