After sustaining cartliage damage in the famous victory at Carrow Road, midfielder Gavin Williams is on course to join in pre-season training.

The £300,000 capture from West Ham sat out the last 10 weeks of 2005/2006 and underwent a cartliage operation but the Welsh international is now running again and looks set to be able to take a full part in Magilton's pre-season campaign that gets underway from June 26th.

Town's fitness coach, Simon Thadani said he was pleased with Gavin's progress: "Gavin is coming on well and is stepping up his running.

"If all goes well he should be fine to return to pre-season training with the other lads on June 26," he told the club website.
