Were not ready for top six - Keane

Ipswich boss Roy Keane rued a missed opportunity for his side to consolidate their position in the top six after they lost 2-0 to Derby at Portman Road. A second-half Kris Commons brace condemned the Tractor Boys to a defeat which meant they slipped out of the Championship play-off places. Keane said: "This result shows we're not ready to cement our position as a top-six side. This was a big chance for us and we didn't take it. Other sides in the top half lost as well but we've got to look at our own business. "We threatened to score goals but didn't and gave two really poor goals away. Both came from free-kicks and both were daft ones to give away." On his team's current form, he added: "We're losing a lot of games and although we're winning more than we were last season there were a lot of draws in there. "It's a mixed bag at the moment as far as we're concerned and we just weren't quite at it. As soon as we went behind we lost our shape and discipline. The players switched off."
