Trot Out to the Left.

Jim has used young Liam Trotter out on the left, out of position to his normal centre midfield role.

Although Trotter has not made the position his own, he is asking for patience from the fans as he adapts to his new position.

He told the Green'Un: "I'm happy enough to play there although it is difficult because I have not played out there before getting to the first team.

"Anyone watching can see I'm not comfortable because I'm not really 100% confident or really sure what I'm doing yet but I'm learning.

"The more I play out there then the better I will get.

"It is good to have Ben behind me because he is always talking to me. He is very experienced and with me out of position it is good to have someone tell me where to be throughout the game."

Jim is keen to add a left winger to the Portman Road ranks, which would subsequently push Trotter out of the starting eleven.
