The 22 year-old Ukranian born German was released by Forest at the end of last season hving joined them in 2001 making 77 appearences and scoring 11 goals.

Town boss Jim Magilton told the Club website:"Eugen will spend the week with us and we'll see how he gets on.

"It will give us time to look at him and him time to look at us."
