The arrest was made after the police were contacted by a woman who reported that her 12 year old son had been shot by a 'BB' gun whilst in a play area in Kesgrave, Suffolk. The boy involved was hit in the back by a pellet but didn't require any medical attention.
Bent has been released following questioning on Police bail until Saturday, June 12th.
