Town Face Shrewsbury in Carling Cup

Town's last encounter against the League Two side took place in the same competition almost 19 years ago in the second round where Town drew 1-1 away from home before winning the second leg at Portman Road 3-0 to secure a 4-1 victory overall.

The game against Paul Simpspn's side will be held in the week commencing August 10th 2009 at the Shrews Prostar Stadium.
