Skipper confident of return

Holland was forced to miss Town's 3-1 Worthington Cup win over Brighton on Tuesday night after picking up the injury in the defeat at Stoke last weekend.

"My studs caught in the turf at the Britannia Stadium as I challenged with Tommy Mooney and the knee took the full force," Holland told the club's official website.

"It was painful when it happened but the adrenaline is rushing through you during a game and that often helps you shake off knocks.

"It's when the match is over, especially the following day, when you can see the damage and the knee was swollen on the Monday morning and stiff.

"I've tweaked my medial ligament apparently and have been having pretty intensive treatment all week but it's improving and I'm confident that I will be available for Saturday."

Holland has not missed a League game for Town since arriving at Portman Road in July 1997 from Bournemouth.
