Royle Set for Loan Striker Swoop?

Despite Royle having three other strikers at his disposal, the former Manchester City boss has been caught in a war of words with Spanish striker Pablo Counago calling him 'Deluded' and it now seems very unlikely Pablo will have any chance of a start on Saturday against Burnley even if Bent does miss out.

Speaking to the Ipswich Evening Star over a prospect of a loan move for another striker, Royle said: “It is unlikely at this stage, but not impossible. For example, if we were to discover that Darren is unable to play it might mean we would try to do something.”
