Speaking to the EADT, Rosenior said: "At this stage of last season, Reading had not dominated half the games that we have this term.
"We have proved ourselves better than all the sides we have played recently, ironically apart from Reading.
"We are in a false position and with just a few more goals over the last nine games we could be in the top 12 now. That would be a realistic position for us.
"We were better than Peterborough in every department. Form is temporary but class is permanent."
