The Dutchman who signed for £1M from Ajax in 2000 following a excellent loan spell was used mostly as a sub last season and indicated he wanted to leave, and whilst he admits he still wants first team action, Reuser says he does not want to leave Town.

Speaking to the East Anglian Daily Times, Town's number 30 said: “I stand by what I said to you after the Gillingham game. I want to play more football but I don't have to leave Ipswich, I don't necessarily need to leave, I just want to play more.

“I have always loved this club and its fans and I would only leave if it was the right move for me as a player and it was right for my family.”
